Candace Mensik

Candace is a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator. Candace Mensik trained under Gail Tully in 2018 to become one of the only provisionally certified Spinning Babies® Parent Educators in the Greater Houston area. This means Candace has the knowledge and permission from the creator of Spinning Babies to teach and share this fascinating and pertinent wisdom with expecting parents. Physiology before force should be the center of all birth.

Transcendent Birth Doula Care includes two prenatal visits during which Candace will talk with you about your birth preferences, how you cope with pain, comfort measures and how she can best facilitate an empowered and satisfying birth experience by providing information, encouragement and support as you navigate your journey through birth. Candace will remain with you throughout labor and birth until breastfeeding and family bonding has been established, followed by a postpartum visit. The on call window for your birth begins 3 weeks before your due date until baby is born, because babies come when they do not when they’re due!
