Madhavi Vemulapalli

Dr. V, as she is known, is a board certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist. She was raised in Michigan and knew early on she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. After becoming a doctor, she moved to the Bay Area with her husband. They have three daughters and a son, all of whom were delivered at John Muir Hospital. Her experience as a patient was wonderful and prompted her desire to work at John Muir to provide the same experience to others. In 2013, was awarded the “Doc that Rocks” award by L&D staff for her teamwork and collaboration. Dr. V has a passion for using all modalities to facilitate a vaginal birth – Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner provided the tools to bring a more holistic approach to her practice.
