Maeva Althaus

Maeva became a childbirth educator through the HypnoBirthing Institute in 2011. She subsequently began attending births as a doula in 2012. Following the birth experience of her best friend which was long and difficult she felt there had to be more she could do to support women in labor. Her research led her to Gail Tully and Spinning Babies.

She took her first workshop with Gail in 2013 and began to use the Spinning Babies techniques with all her clients to truly support physiological birth.

Combining the Mind with HypnoBirthing and the Body with the use of the Spinning Babies techniques she provides a complete childbirth education program.

She strives to empower women and their partners to advocate for themselves and to help them know and trust their bodies in the birthing process.
