Pauline Goulah

When Pauline was pregnant with her daughter 10 years ago, it was a doula who changed her birth experience to something beautiful, and since then, she’s been working to pay it forward. In 2014, Pauline became a birth doula and a childbirth educator in 2018. Her focus is on evidence-based education, the physiology of birth, and bridging the divide between the magic of a supported, loving birth and our modern medical world. Pauline is co-owner of Buffalo Birth & Baby, a doula collaborative, and Cary House Buffalo, a holistic perinatal wellness center. Buffalo Birth & Baby offers several prenatal classes in monthly rotation, including Spinning Babies®, birth and postpartum doula support, prenatal massage, and a postpartum support group. Cary House strives to offer refuge from the culture of fear that surrounds modern-day birth; a space to share ideas, knowledge, and options around pregnancy and the birth experience. Pauline and the doulas of Buffalo Birth & Baby are passionate about rewriting the narrative as something beautiful and empowering.
