She has served as a subject matter expert on numerous maternal health initiatives and is known for her ability to make complex information accessible and affirming. Her teaching style is dynamic, supportive, and grounded in honoring the birthing body's wisdom.

Amara Cashion
Amara Cashion began birth work in 2019 as a certified birth doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding counselor. While working with moms, she couldn’t help but notice all of the discomfort these moms were feeling throughout their pregnancies. That drove her desire to become a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator to give her a deeper level of knowledge to help the women she supported to have a more comfortable pregnancy. Since then, Amara has used the Spinning Babies® approach prenatally and in labor with almost all of her clients with a great deal of success. Her training with Gail and Jennifer changed how she worked as a doula for the better, making her a more confident and well-rounded birth worker for her clients.
