I just downloaded this video – it is great and I highly recommend it! I have suffered from back and pelvic pain, so my midwife suggested I check out your site. Thank you for making such a great pregnancy resource 🙂

  2. Miisamaisa (verified owner)

Great video – Yoga Flow is such a good routine to do almost daily. The yoga has helped my lower back pain and I think also made more room for the baby and me to breathe and feel comfortable. I recommend this highly!

  3. Susanna Kocher Vaughan

I just had my first birth on Friday, and I wanted to say how grateful I was for Spinning Babies Daily Essentials. I did them 3-5 times a week from about week 34 and then daily for the last 2 weeks of my 40.5 week pregnancy. They helped Baby settle into LOA, and stay there, they helped me cope with the discomfort of late pregnancy, and I’m convinced, helped my active labor to be the short 9 hours it was, with no complications and very very minimal tearing. Thank you so much! I highly recommend it.

  4. Emily

I did the daily essentials video every day while being pregnant with my first baby and I had a 6 hour, beautiful labor. My midwife told me about spinning babies. After hearing the baby’s position is what can make labor longer, I was immediately interested. This yoga flow is really easy and relaxing. I used it as “me” time. It’s also a great way to connect with your baby. I highly recommend.

  5. Caitlin

Last week at our 36 week sonogram, we found out that our baby was positioned transverse (head to the right and feet lower left quadrant). As a first time mom, I was devastated to say the least because our doctor didn’t seem confident he would turn on his own. That’s when I found Gail and Spinning Babies. After reading all amazing free content on the website, I decided to purchase the Daily Essentials video. After a week of daily body balancing, the Daily Essentials stretching routine in the morning, evening walks, and two visits to the chiropractor for body work, we got the news we’d been praying for, he flipped himself head down! Our doctor was impressed and happy for us. Two more weeks to go and I plan to continue sticking to our new routine until our little guy decides it’s time to make his debut. I can’t thank you enough!!

I highly recommend this video. Whether you are trying to turn your baby or looking for some relief from the aches of pregnancy, I highly recommend adding this to your routine. The content is easy to understand and the routines are gentle on the body. My only wish is that I found this invaluable resource sooner!

Money well spent! Having a guided movement practice that I feel comfortable is good for me in pregnancy has been very beneficial

  7. Marianna Luongo (verified owner)

Invaluable help!!! The exercises helped me correct my pelvic imbalances. They were so severe I had discomfort to my hips pelvis and backbone from conception which turned into intense pain by the second trimester, even if my belly was small! I could stand only for a few hours a day, by early evening I had to lay down because of the pain, which was radiating even to my sciatic nerve. I have always been sedentary in my life and my mild scoliosis and poor posture didn’t help! But thanks to these exercises I had a wonderful, PAIN FREE third trimester! And my birth went fast with minimal pain. I didn’t even know I was in labor until my waters broke and baby (my very first) was born after 3 hours. I gave birth without medication in squat/kneeling position. It was everything I had hoped for and I know for sure it wouldn’t have been possible without this course. I had a lot of anxieties during my pregnancy and memories of a past loss, and a lot of muscle tension which could have led me to a bad experience in childbirth. But thanks to the LOVING vibe of Gail and Sarah, and to their vaste experience, all put into the exercises they developed, I was able to let go of everything, even the darkness in my mind, to focus only on me and my baby, and to feel the power of mother nature running through me. THANK YOU is not enough.

Excellent and informative video. I’ve started incorporating the essentials into my day and the yoga practice is wonderfully grounding and stress relieving after a busy day. Highly recommend!

  9. Meghan Womack

I love this video! It’s helpful to have tools like this as pregnancy processes. The only thing I wish it had was chapters instead of one continuous video. The continuous video makes it difficult to go back and review different activities that I want to do.

  10. Jennifer Jackson

I do this video every night. I look forward to it, I feel great afterwards physically and mentally. It has helped ease pregnancy sciatic irritation and given me more flexibility. I am looking forward to a VBAC this pregnancy and this video had given me a lot of self confidence in my body.

  11. Kylie Gillespie

Great easy to follow information for pregnant mothers to be able to create balanced space for their baby to have optimal positioning for pregnancy and birth! Thanks Spinning Babies.

  12. Natalie

I started doing the exercises/stretches in this video every night since I was 20 weeks along. Now that I am 39 weeks, I can say this video has been so helpful in keeping the aches and pains of pregnancy so much more bearable! I still look forward to doing them every night as it calms and relaxes me. As this is my second baby, I am hopeful my labor and birth will be quicker than my first since I have been working on getting my body balanced and getting baby in the optimal position for birth! Definitely recommend this video.

  13. Anonymous

I really enjoy this video. My normal yoga practice got way too challenging for me in my second trimester. These stretches are great and the flow feels easy, which means I can actually stay motivated to do it frequently. The tips are also helpful.

  14. Michelle Walton

Clear and easy to follow for any expectant Mom. I love Gail’s work

  15. Anonymous

I think these techniques could be helpful in learning to relax.

  16. Catherine J.

    Absolutely loved it.

  17. Ellen

I do this routine in the evenings before bed, to spend time focusing on my body and my baby. It feels empowering, intimate, and like I’m doing something that will help my labor and delivery. Thank you, Spinning Babies!

  18. Beverly B.

I am planning my first all natural childbirth, and i feel like the daily essentials are critical to achieving what i want. After 4 sunny side up deliveries, i am trying everything i can to get this baby in the most optimal position! I am especially happy with my purchase since i found out my daughter is breech. I hope these exercises encourage her to turn!

  19. Tammy Hocking

  20. Brooke Sanders

I think this is a valuable tool for pregnant mums – good instruction to get a hang of doing the exercises correctly. You can adapt it and make it your own of course – I now have the exercises written down and do them on my own. But this resource is great.

  21. Anonymous

I love this it has amazing yoga activities and tips on pregnancy/delivery comfort! I am excited for delivery and feel very amazing at 38 weeks, I feel this has done wonders for my pregnancy comfort!

  22. Renee

I downloaded this video (and the Parent Class video) at 34 weeks when my baby was breech. After 2 weeks of doing the daily essential exercises, walking nearly 6km a day, and along with the Breech position (ironing board) exercise, my baby spun and got into the optimal birthing position. This was confirmed at my 36-week Malpresentation scan. I was elated!

At first, hearing my baby was breech was disappointing news – however, Gail’s wisdom and advice brought me closer to my pregnancy experience and made it more 3-dimensional as I began to understand the relationship between Balancing my body, consciously working with Gravity for the baby to spin, whilst Moving, to help the baby get in the optimal birthing position. I became more educated and took greater control of my pregnancy, which has been (and still is) an empowering experience.

If your baby is breech, transverse, or if you want to relieve your back pain and prepare for a better birth, I highly recommend investing in this video, as well as the Parent Class video.. now to rewatch and rewatch the Parent Class video to work with baby to engage in my pelvis and prepare for labour (which I’m looking forward to!).

  23. Fiona

    Fabulously put together!!
I would however love to see a document or booklet to accompany this wonderful course/class, as it is deep in its content and much to remember – and not always able to access internet/computer to play it each time one does the exercises.
The voice over with instructions is really beneficial too!
I’ve found the exercises most helpful ?

  24. Delaine

Loved it and found it provided lots of comfort and support!

  25. Maxine

    Great video & helpful exercises

  26. Natanielle

I’ve been using this video daily starting at 34 weeks. The yoga flow is a great sequence and length of workout to slowly stretch and add mobility. I’ve also been doing the forward inversions and they feel great!

  27. Verna

  28. Jennell E.

I was never into yoga or stretchy movements prior to getting pregnant but now that I’m doing the daily essentials (for me, closer to “every other day essentials”) I feel such a difference in my hips, back, and overall body aches. Truly a life saver when you feel as big as a house and can hardly move around as it is.

  29. katerina santamouri

I’m pregnant and during Coronavirus it was my chance to try my best for my labor.

  30. Elle A.

I’m so glad I found these daily essential exercises to do during my pregnancy. After doing this daily routine for a couple of weeks now, I can definitely say my body feels a lot less achy and a lot more balanced and healthy. Thank you so much.

  31. Hannah

This video has been so helpful. I really love the yoga flow sequence at the end. Because of the pandemic going on right now, no in person prenatal yoga classes are being offered, so this video has been a huge help!

  32. Jessica O.

This has been so helpful for me, during this time of covid19. I usually practice yoga 4 days a week, before and during my pregnancy. This has been a fabulous substitute since not being able to leave the house while 35 weeks pregnant. I’m going for a VBAC and hoping Spinning Babies will help facilitate that happening!

  34. Olga Kovalenko

Absolutely love it! I was looking for a prenatal yoga routine that I can incorporate to my everyday life and this one is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been doing daily essential exercises plus 40 min walks starting the first trimester and I feel physically very good. Thank you so much for making it Gail and Sarah!

  35. shelley

I am really happy with this video. Gail’s voice is so soothing and reassuring. I wish she was in Australia so she could be at my birth.

  36. Kaitlin McCarthy

I was pretty disappointed with this video. First of all, it seems like a pretty basic pre-natal yoga class, which is fine, but I had somehow expected from your website I was getting something that was more from a PT perspective. But beyond that there are lots of very annoying aspects to the way the video is put together that shows a lack of forethought for usability. For something you are supposed to do daily, it’s pretty annoying that the “class” aspect doesn’t start until a few minutes into the video, so you have to scroll through to find the start everyday. Also, the way the class is lead makes it hard to follow along with. Like the video will just cut to the teacher having a prop, so then I have to pause the video and get my prop and restart the video when I have it to keep up. Also there are times when the teacher demonstrates full sets of somethings and other times when she doesn’t, etc. My final complaint is that (and while some people probably like this) the video had a lot of sappy flowery mommy language that I’m so exhausted of. I don’t want to feel my motherhood blossoming inside of me or any of that. That’s not part of my daily “essentials.”

  37. Jordan R.

I started the Daily Essentials video around 20 weeks pregnant and I’m so glad I did. Now at 26 weeks I’m starting to have some back pain, but the essentials I learned and the yoga flow I’ve now memorized are helping me cope with the changes in my body. I’m so thankful for this video – an excellent resource for mothers-to-be!

  38. Anonymous

The stretches and exercises presented on this video have made me feel much more balanced in my third trimester than I felt with my first pregnancy, and confident about giving birth.

  39. Manuela

  40. Sarah

I have been doing this yoga nearly every day and I feel so good! In addition to keeping me comfortable, the practice is also increasing my confidence in my body as I prepare for labor and birth.

  41. Élisa G.

Super helpful video! Especially the yoga sequence, it really helps to relieve pelvic girdle pain 🙂

  42. Andrea

Very easy to understand and follow along. Easy to implement in small bits or larger chunks depending on my day and schedule.

  43. Nancy Figueroa

I really love the yoga flow session, in only 20 minutes I am able to stretch my body and be mindful of my pregnancy. Thank you very much!

  44. Zoe

Really informative and love the exercises and the tips for day to day movements

  45. Kelsey Johnson

The daily activities has helped resolve sciatic discomfort and made me pain free. The daily tips are so helpful. I have been doing the activities everyday since purchase and plan to continue until birth.

  46. Jamie

Worth the small investment! I wish I would have started earlier in my pregnancy.

  47. Lindsey

    Excellent for birth prep

  48. Jamie

Soothing video to watch with promising advice, hope it helps for my upcoming labor!

  49. Yuliia Cold

It is great! I am so happy I bought this lesson!

  50. Safire

I was 23 when I delivered my first baby without an epidural. I bought both videos and attended a Hypnobirthing workshop. I honestly half a$$ed the Spinning Babies videos and didn’t do all the meditations from Hypnobirthing and I still had A WONDERFUL NATURAL BIRTH!!! Just practicing a little bit at a time goes a long way! If I can do it, so can you MAMA <3

  51. Christine R.

Super helpful moves to help get ready for birth!

  52. Anonymous

This is a great course. Clearly demonstrated the postures with great explanations. I felt the $16.99 is well spent for a smooth delivery!

  53. Jenna T.

I enjoyed how easily I could adapt the information and positions into my daily yoga flow. I feel like it certainly assisted in relaxing certain muscles and reducing my pelvic pain. This also facilitated my baby to turn from breech position at 34 weeks. Very pleased and still using these skills in my daily routine at 35 weeks. Thank you again.

  54. carla

  55. Amanda

I was having so much trouble with back pain and sciatica. After implementing this video into my daily routine, I still have some pain at 38 weeks but it is substantially better.

  56. Cristina D.

I love this program! I follow the stretching routine every day. It’s made a big difference! I’m no longer achy and tired but reenergized and can move more easily with my growing bump. My L&D nurse told me about Spinning Babies when I was in horrible painful labor because my baby was not in the ideal position. She immediately did Spinning Babies techniques with me and corrected baby’s alignment! So now with the second pregnancy I am practicing this every day. Thank you, Spinning Babies!

  57. Gurmit

    Great video

  58. Ania W.

I love all your materials and would love to become a part of your family. Professional knowledge and fantastic support, I would love to become one of your specialists one day.

  59. Ana María Ramirez Nunez

Easy to do and complet for every day.
I recommend this video to all families.

  60. Stefanie

Just after one week of doing the exercises daily, my pain at the back of my pelvis was almost gone – what a relief!!! Very grateful for the knowledge and love passed on through the video!! THANK YOU!!! 🙂 ♡

  61. Elizabeth K.

I love the music and the sense of empowerment doing the exercises gives me.

It is a nice and gentle guided routine, easy to understand and perform.

    Very helpful!

  65. Anonymous

Easy to follow, comfortable, all levels.

  66. Anna

Beautifully formatted, with helpful information. I love knowing the “why” to doing something and every exercise or habit change has a reason. My only frustration is having to find the daily yoga sequence on the digital platform where you have to skip through the whole program because there is no menu.

  67. Sarah

I love the daily essentials! I just wish I would have found it earlier. I practice the yoga flow almost everyday and feel great!

  68. Allison S.

I am a runner and a weight lifter, and thankfully my body has allowed me to continue these activities throughout my first two trimesters. I have to thank Spinning Babies and my doula for the support and encouragement to stay active. I feel so grateful to have this daily practice to turn to. I have had SI joint issues prior to becoming pregnant so this daily practice was my first purchase from Spinning Babies, as I wanted to make sure to keep my pelvis balanced and stable. I look forward to purchasing more from Spinning Babies! Thank you for all the work you do. It’s very aligned with my goals for a natural birth. 🙂

  69. Ina

Thank you for this! I appreciated the ability to watch this video as many times as I need to, in order to prepare for the birth of my baby.

  70. Dena Spielman

Important for every woman – pregnant or not

  71. Natália

It’s being really nice to do the yoga flow sequence everyday. I’ve been felling very well. It has also helped me with my back pain.

  72. Christina C.

This has been a very helpful video to watch as I prepare for the birth of my second son. My first was posterior ending in c-section, so I’m doing everything possible to keep this baby in the best position possible to have a successful VBAC!

  73. Courtney

There are some interesting poses shown at the first half of the video. However if you are doing prenatal yoga regularly or have been practicing yoga regularly they won’t be much different than what you are already doing. I was also not able to access the video through my phone so the portability was limited. I use this video as a resource but not daily b/c I do prenatal yoga daily.

  74. Carly P.

I had this video recommended to me by my doula at the start of my 3rd trimester. I am only at 32 weeks, but since doing this video baby is already head down – something I was so nervous about! But even better than baby head down, is that I feel so much better in my body after I do the stretches. The yoga sequence is nice, but I prefer the longer stretching portion. I also really appreciate the tops on posture while walking and sitting. As well as the flashlight explanation – I had seen this talked about in other places and did not get it, nor why it was important. With this video I did and I am so grateful because it has really changed how I approach my pregnancy. Even my partner has noticed that I am moving better and with more ease even as I continue to progress. I now recommending this video to all my pregnant friends.

  75. Michelle Doyle

So far I’ve really enjoyed doing my daily essentials. I can feel a difference in my hip mobility and hope that this helps me on the way to achieving my VBAC. I didn’t give 5 stars as I feel the transition through some of the movements can be a little quick which is fine now but I suspect it will be harder as I get further along. For example when it switches from seated stretches to squats. Overall I have really enjoyed the video and I think it is great value for the price.

  76. Katherine Clark

The stretching and yoga sequence feels so good! This practice has definitely helped my third trimester discomforts considerably.

  78. Kathleen S.

  79. Jana V.

Awesome material, very well explained, just a bit too big, as I need to download it into my mobile phone, I would appreciate two shorter videos, one with the talking, second with the yoga session 🙂

  80. Jo

Loved it – quite long. Would be great if there were sort of chapters so you knew when you were moving from information into the yoga class

  81. Dawn

I absolutely love this video. For someone who is not a yogi, I found it simple, and easy to follow. The information provided empowers me as a mommy. So thankful for this resource!

  82. Andrea

I started the daily exercises at 31 weeks for this pregnancy. Previous pregnancies I’ve experienced a week or so of prodromal labor before going into actual labor. I have also had issues with shoulder dystocia and lots of discomfort during pregnancy. Doing the exercises, I felt much better during pregnancy and had no prodromal labor. I felt the baby turn to LOT about 3 days before labor. My prior babies were all posterior. Thanks for the program and all the info on the website!!

  83. Anonymous

Its clear, all the exercises. I enjoy practicing them, my body and soul feels so well.

  84. Anne Ongyod

This video is fantastic. I’ve been doing the yoga flow sequence every night since 23 weeks (I’m 34 weeks now). Both these movements and posture awareness have kept me flexible, mobile and comfortable even though I have a fractured lower vertebrae and frequently pick up my 25 pound son. The yoga flow is so relaxing to do before bed; I sleep great! Thanks so much for creating a program that is realistic and enjoyable to do daily!

  85. Maria A.

I was recommended to Spinning Babies by my midwife and I absolutely love their Daily Essentials Class and the amount of information they offer on their website.

I am currently on my second trimester and do these exercises daily. I am a yoga practitioner and have taught yoga as well, and I can say these exercises are helpful and doable to both, experienced practitioners and beginners.

Would recommend to all pregnant mamas out there!

  86. Kira

Easy to follow routine, helped with my low back pain

  87. Valentina

I have appreciated the tips and the stretching routine. Thank you!

  88. Kelly

The daily exercises were perfect for me while pregnant as I wanted to stay active but hadn’t exercised much prior to becoming pregnant. I noticed my back pain was always a little less on the days I did spinning babies!

  89. Kassandra M. (verified owner)

Lots of good info for the price. More daily stretches than I thought there would be.

  90. Allison E. (verified owner)

The daily essentials exercises have been such a valuable part of my routine. The yoga sequence at the end is so soothing and empowering- exactly what I need in preparation from my attempt at VBAC. I’m so happy I listened to my friend who recommended I take a look at spinning babies!

This is very useful, I’m a total believer of the Daily Essentials practice. Totally recommended!!

  93. Anonymous (verified owner)

Loving the daily essentials video. When I made my purchase I had been suffering from round ligament pain and unexplained abdominal pains. Since starting this practice and being overall more mindful of how I use my body during the day as it says, my round ligament pain is under control and I haven’t experienced the abdominal pain. Thank you so much!

  94. Megan C. (verified owner)

Overall it’s a great video, unfortunately there isn’t an option for fast forward or rewind using mobile devices which makes it difficult to use . Aside from that, it’s very informative. I have the yoga routine memorized at this point and it’s by far my favorite prenatal routine. I always feel so great and balanced afterwards.

  95. Heidi McDowell (verified owner)

I am a RPYT (prenatal yoga teacher) and a first time expecting Mama. I found the Daily Essentials to be tremendously helpful and fill in some of the “WHY” and “HOW” questions that my training had left me with.

  96. Hui Liu (verified owner)

I’d recommend this to every pregnant mom. It is beneficial not only to birth but also to the pregnancy stage. I was helped a lot with my shortness of breath.

  97. Heidi L.

It is so helpful to have someone who provides tips for pregnancy. And the yoga section is just lovely! The yoga section allows me to connect to my baby and to being a mom! Highly recommend it.

  98. Brittney

I have learned so much from this video!
