    I just had my first birth on Friday, and I wanted to say how grateful I was for Spinning Babies Daily Essentials. I did them 3-5 times a week from about week 34 and then daily for the last 2 weeks of my 40.5 week pregnancy. They helped Baby settle into LOA, and stay there, they helped me cope with the discomfort of late pregnancy, and I’m convinced, helped my active labor to be the short 9 hours it was, with no complications and very very minimal tearing.     I did the daily essentials video every day while being pregnant with my first baby and I had a 6 hour, beautiful labor. My midwife told me about spinning babies. After hearing the baby’s position is what can make labor longer, I was immediately interested. This yoga flow is really easy and relaxing. I used it as “me” time. It’s also a great way to connect with your baby. I highly recommend.

    Last week at our 36 week sonogram, we found out that our baby was positioned transverse (head to the right and feet lower left quadrant). As a first time mom, I was devastated to say the least because our doctor didn’t seem confident he would turn on his own. That’s when I found Gail and Spinning Babies. After reading all amazing free content on the website, I decided to purchase the Daily Essentials video. After a week of daily body balancing, the Daily Essentials stretching routine in the morning, evening walks, and two visits to the chiropractor for body work, we got the news we’d been praying for, he flipped himself head down!     Invaluable help!!! The exercises helped me correct my pelvic imbalances. They were so severe I had discomfort to my hips pelvis and backbone from conception which turned into intense pain by the second trimester, even if my belly was small! I could stand only for a few hours a day, by early evening I had to lay down because of the pain, which was radiating even to my sciatic nerve. I have always been sedentary in my life and my mild scoliosis and poor posture didn’t help! But thanks to these exercises I had a wonderful, PAIN FREE third trimester! And my birth went fast with minimal pain. I didn’t even know I was in labor until my waters broke and baby (my very first) was born after 3 hours. I gave birth without medication in squat/kneeling position. It was everything I had hoped for and I know for sure it wouldn’t have been possible without this course. I had a lot of anxieties during my pregnancy and memories of a past loss, and a lot of muscle tension which could have led me to a bad experience in childbirth. But thanks to the LOVING vibe of Gail and Sarah, and to their vaste experience, all put into the exercises they developed, I was able to let go of everything, even the darkness in my mind, to focus only on me and my baby, and to feel the power of mother nature running through me.     I love this video! It’s helpful to have tools like this as pregnancy processes. The only thing I wish it had was chapters instead of one continuous video. The continuous video makes it difficult to go back and review different activities that I want to do.

    I started doing the exercises/stretches in this video every night since I was 20 weeks along. Now that I am 39 weeks, I can say this video has been so helpful in keeping the aches and pains of pregnancy so much more bearable! I still look forward to doing them every night as it calms and relaxes me. As this is my second baby, I am hopeful my labor and birth will be quicker than my first since I have been working on getting my body balanced and getting baby in the optimal position for birth! Definitely recommend this video.

    I really enjoy this video. My normal yoga practice got way too challenging for me in my second trimester. These stretches are great and the flow feels easy, which means I can actually stay motivated to do it frequently. The tips are also helpful.

    I think this is a valuable tool for pregnant mums – good instruction to get a hang of doing the exercises correctly. You can adapt it and make it your own of course – I now have the exercises written down and do them on my own. But this resource is great.

    I downloaded this video (and the Parent Class video) at 34 weeks when my baby was breech. After 2 weeks of doing the daily essential exercises, walking nearly 6km a day, and along with the Breech position (ironing board) exercise, my baby spun and got into the optimal birthing position. This was confirmed at my 36-week Malpresentation scan. I was elated!

    At first, hearing my baby was breech was disappointing news – however, Gail’s wisdom and advice brought me closer to my pregnancy experience and made it more 3-dimensional as I began to understand the relationship between Balancing my body, consciously working with Gravity for the baby to spin, whilst Moving, to help the baby get in the optimal birthing position. I became more educated and took greater control of my pregnancy, which has been (and still is) an empowering experience.

    If your baby is breech, transverse, or if you want to relieve your back pain and prepare for a better birth, I highly recommend investing in this video, as well as the Parent Class video.. now to rewatch and rewatch the Parent Class video to work with baby to engage in my pelvis and prepare for labour (which I’m looking forward to!).

    I would however love to see a document or booklet to accompany this wonderful course/class, as it is deep in its content and much to remember – and not always able to access internet/computer to play it each time one does the exercises.
    The voice over with instructions is really beneficial too!

    I’ve been using this video daily starting at 34 weeks. The yoga flow is a great sequence and length of workout to slowly stretch and add mobility. I’ve also been doing the forward inversions and they feel great!

    I was never into yoga or stretchy movements prior to getting pregnant but now that I’m doing the daily essentials (for me, closer to “every other day essentials”) I feel such a difference in my hips, back, and overall body aches.     I was pretty disappointed with this video. First of all, it seems like a pretty basic pre-natal yoga class, which is fine, but I had somehow expected from your website I was getting something that was more from a PT perspective. But beyond that there are lots of very annoying aspects to the way the video is put together that shows a lack of forethought for usability. For something you are supposed to do daily, it’s pretty annoying that the “class” aspect doesn’t start until a few minutes into the video, so you have to scroll through to find the start everyday. Also, the way the class is lead makes it hard to follow along with. Like the video will just cut to the teacher having a prop, so then I have to pause the video and get my prop and restart the video when I have it to keep up. Also there are times when the teacher demonstrates full sets of somethings and other times when she doesn’t, etc. My final complaint is that (and while some people probably like this) the video had a lot of sappy flowery mommy language that I’m so exhausted of. I don’t want to feel my motherhood blossoming inside of me or any of that. That’s not part of my daily “essentials.”

I honestly half a$$ed the Spinning Babies videos and didn’t do all the meditations from Hypnobirthing and I still had A WONDERFUL NATURAL BIRTH!!!     I love this program! I follow the stretching routine every day. It’s made a big difference! I’m no longer achy and tired but reenergized and can move more easily with my growing bump. My only frustration is having to find the daily yoga sequence on the digital platform where you have to skip through the whole program because there is no menu.

    There are some interesting poses shown at the first half of the video. However if you are doing prenatal yoga regularly or have been practicing yoga regularly they won’t be much different than what you are already doing. I was also not able to access the video through my phone so the portability was limited. I use this video as a resource but not daily b/c I do prenatal yoga daily.

    I had this video recommended to me by my doula at the start of my 3rd trimester. I am only at 32 weeks, but since doing this video baby is already head down – something I was so nervous about! But even better than baby head down, is that I feel so much better in my body after I do the stretches. The yoga sequence is nice, but I prefer the longer stretching portion. I also really appreciate the tops on posture while walking and sitting. As well as the flashlight explanation – I had seen this talked about in other places and did not get it, nor why it was important. With this video I did and I am so grateful because it has really changed how I approach my pregnancy. Even my partner has noticed that I am moving better and with more ease even as I continue to progress. I now recommending this video to all my pregnant friends.

    So far I’ve really enjoyed doing my daily essentials. I can feel a difference in my hip mobility and hope that this helps me on the way to achieving my VBAC. I didn’t give 5 stars as I feel the transition through some of the movements can be a little quick which is fine now but I suspect it will be harder as I get further along. For example when it switches from seated stretches to squats. Overall I have really enjoyed the video and I think it is great value for the price.

    I started the daily exercises at 31 weeks for this pregnancy. Previous pregnancies I’ve experienced a week or so of prodromal labor before going into actual labor. I have also had issues with shoulder dystocia and lots of discomfort during pregnancy. Doing the exercises, I felt much better during pregnancy and had no prodromal labor. I felt the baby turn to LOT about 3 days before labor. My prior babies were all posterior. Thanks for the program and all the info on the website!!

    This video is fantastic. I’ve been doing the yoga flow sequence every night since 23 weeks (I’m 34 weeks now). Both these movements and posture awareness have kept me flexible, mobile and comfortable even though I have a fractured lower vertebrae and frequently pick up my 25 pound son.     Overall it’s a great video, unfortunately there isn’t an option for fast forward or rewind using mobile devices which makes it difficult to use . Aside from that, it’s very informative. I have the yoga routine memorized at this point and it’s by far my favorite prenatal routine. I always feel so great and balanced afterwards.
