Who Qualifies to Become a Certified Parent Educator
This program is open to certified childbirth educators, registered prenatal yoga instructors (200 hours), and experienced childbirth educators who have taught at least five group classes.
You hold an active certification in childbirth education or are a registered prenatal yoga instructor with at least 200 hours of training (including 85 hours specific to prenatal support). A scan or photo of your certification will be required with your application.
You have taught at least five group childbirth education classes. If you are not currently certified, you may still qualify by providing documentation, such as a letter from a supervisor or Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator who can verify your teaching experience.
Please note: Individual client education within a clinical practice does not fulfill this requirement. If your work is more hands-on, consider exploring the Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner Training instead.
