Physiological birth is the body’s innate process for childbirth, and the neurobiological catalyst for deep and abiding attachment and bonding. Normal birth reveals itself in a wide range of normal variations. Physiological birth is not just avoiding intervention– we can understand the birthing body’s signs of function and wellbeing, and therefore, discern when interventions are necessary and life-saving. We promote simple restorations of normal birth function. We want to trust birth, and by understanding physiology better, we can trust again.
