Birth Skills Training Pathway
Join a 3.5-day immersive Birth Skills Training where you’ll explore fascia, balance, and fetal positioning in action. Then complete the Online Certification Modules to finalize your certification.

If you attend Birth Skills Training, the $250 certification fee is already included in your Birth Skills registration. You do not pay this fee separately.

After attending the required training, you’ll receive an invitation and application link.
You’ll enter the date of your training and upload proof of completion.

This program is for nurses, midwives, doulas, and physicians who support physiological birth in any setting. If you believe in aligning with the body’s innate wisdom and want to deepen your understanding of fetal positioning, neurophysiology, and body balancing, this certification is designed for you.
Certified professionals gain access to a global community, receive a certification badge to showcase their skills, and are eligible for a listing on the Spinning Babies® website. Certification highlights your commitment to physiological birth and positions you as a trusted resource in your field. Certified Birth Professionals are invited to join our affiliate program, giving you the opportunity to share valuable Spinning Babies® resources while earning commission.

The certification timeline depends on your chosen pathway:
You’ll have 12 months to complete your online modules and post-training assessment after finishing either the Integration Workshop or Birth Skills training. Many finish within 1–3 months.
Once you complete your certification, you’ll receive a Spinning Babies® Certified Birth Professional badge to showcase your expertise. You may also qualify for a listing in our online directory so families and collaborators can easily find you.
As part of our certified community, you’ll gain exclusive access to quarterly CE webinars for continued learning and receive invitations to connect with our global network of professionals. Your certification is more than a title—it’s an ongoing relationship with a community transforming birth around the world.
Yes! You’ll earn CE credits through our accredited workshops, and certified professionals can earn additional CE credits by attending quarterly webinars.
To maintain certification, you must attend (or watch the recordings of) at least 6 out of 8 quarterly webinars within your certification cycle. This helps you stay connected and continually grow your skills.
Yes! Certified professionals are invited to quarterly live webinars, offered continuing education opportunities, and stay connected through email updates, community events, and ongoing support.
As an independent birth professional, you’ll receive a listing in the Spinning Babies® online directory to help potential clients find you. The badge and credential also help communicate your specialized skills and evidence-based approach to care.
This credential demonstrates your hospital’s commitment to physiology-first care. It also enhances your reputation as a trusted resource among your team and the families you serve.
Yes! Once certified, you’ll receive a digital badge to showcase on your website, social media, and materials. It highlights your advanced training in physiological birth and sets you apart in your field.
You’re not alone – we’re here to support you. If you don’t pass the assessment on your first try, you’ll receive feedback to help guide your review. You’re welcome to retake the assessment whenever you feel ready. There’s no penalty, just continued support as you deepen your understanding and move toward certification. |
