Amara has been serving birthing families since 2004, first as a birth doula and expanded her certification to postpartum doula in 2007, and childbirth educator in 2011. She has always been passionate about helping expecting couples feel supported and prepared as they grow and birth their babies, with information and education being a key part of that. She is proud to be the first in Hampton Roads, Virginia, to teach Spinning Babies® Parenting Classes, and is excited to empower parents with the activities and positions they’ll learn, and that they can do together, to bring comfort in pregnancy and ease in birth.
