Daniel Haas was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has been a dedicated birth worker since 2006. He holds certifications as a Birth Doula through DONA International, a HypnoBirthing International practitioner, and a childbirth educator through HypnoBirthing International and Lamaze International. Daniel became a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator (SpBCPE) in 2021 and a Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner (SpBAP) in 2022. He is continually amazed and rewarded by the positive impact this work has on pregnant individuals and parents.
Daniel graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) Boyce Campus in 2006. He is also a Licensed Massage Therapist in Pennsylvania, specializing in pregnancy/prenatal, fertility, and labor induction massage. He completed his massage therapy education at CCAC Boyce Campus in 2007 and Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2016 (License Number MSG002985).
Believing that all expectant parents deserve a calm, satisfying pregnancy, birth experience, and a positive transition into parenthood, Daniel feels honored to support them in this journey—whether through childbirth classes, pregnancy massage/bodywork, or as a birth doula. Daniel teaches classes at Hess Physical Therapy and also offers private services in clients’ homes.
