Maria is a birth doula and childbirth educator who is passionate about ensuring that families have the support and education they need to provide them a positive birth experience. She began this mission over 25 years ago helping fellow military spouses during their births when their partners could not be by their side. Today she runs Operation Doula and leads over 20 volunteer doulas that provide no-cost support for military families delivering at Balboa Hospital. Her experience allows her to provide premier support to private clients at any birth venue.
