I was born in Vietnam to a woman who birthed 6 children, but could not care for them all and was adopted in 1975 by a woman who had a difficult and traumatic birth in 1971 and never wanted to go through it again. Part of my healing journey has been to heed the call to help new moms by providing continuous non-medical labor support during birth. I have also had two children with a doula and midwife team myself, and I believe feeling prepared and supported can make an enormous difference in birth outcomes. Thus, I am committed to “changing the earth through birth” as a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator.
