The Foundational Workshop (1- or 2-day option)
FOR: Birth and Pregnancy Professionals and Educators (Nurses, midwives, doulas, physicians, bodyworkers, massage therapists, childbirth educators, prenatal yoga teachers)
PREREQUISITES: None
This workshop introduces you to the core principles of Spinning Babies®. Learn how to optimize fetal positioning and support physiological birth practices, laying the foundation for your journey as a birth professional. Whether you’re just starting or seeking to refine your skills, this workshop is the first step in enhancing your ability to support families with confidence and ease.
Integration Workshop
FOR: Birth professionals (Nurses, midwives, physicians, doulas)
PREREQUISITES: The Foundational Workshop + 3 Months Post Workshop Experience
This workshop builds on the Foundational Workshop, focusing on integrating Spinning Babies® techniques into your daily practice. Here, you’ll refine your skills and learn to confidently apply these methods to optimize birth outcomes. This workshop offers the second pathway to becoming a Certified Birth Professional.
Birth Skills Training
FOR: Birth professionals (Nurses, midwives, physicians, doulas)
PREREQUISITES: None
A transformative three-and-a-half-day experience, the Birth Skills Training helps you dive deep into fetal positioning, anatomy, and physiology. This program is one of two pathways to becoming a Certified Birth Professional with Spinning Babies®. You’ll leave equipped with the knowledge and practical tools to guide expectant families through a more comfortable and empowered birth process.
Advanced Certifications
Certified Birth Professional
FOR: Birth professionals (Nurses, midwives, physicians, doulas)
PREREQUISITES: The Foundational Workshop & Integration Workshop, or Birth Skills Training, Online Learning Modules
Become a Spinning Babies® Certified Birth Professional by completing the online modules and choosing one of two pathways: the Birth Skills or Integration track. These certifications honor your dedication to physiological birth and provide advanced knowledge in fetal positioning and birth practices. Upon certification, you’ll be added to the Spinning Babies® Certified Birth Professional directory, showcasing your expertise, positioning you as a leader in birth work, and highlighting your commitment to providing optimal care and support to families.
Certified Parent Educator
FOR: Childbirth Educators
PREREQUISITES: The Foundational Workshop + Experience as Childbrith Educator
Become a Certified Parent Educator and teach the Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Classes. Help expectant families understand the importance of fetal positioning and prepare for a smoother birth experience. This certification allows you to empower parents with tools to navigate pregnancy with confidence.
Aware Practitioner Training
FOR: Professionals with a hands-on practice (bodyworkers, chiropractors, massage therapists)
PREREQUISITES: The Foundational Workshop + Experience as a Bodyworker
The Aware Practitioner Training is designed for those with a hands-on practice who want to expand their skill set to optimize fetal positioning and alleviate discomfort during pregnancy. This workshop will teach you techniques in fascia work, pelvic level solutions, and labor progression to enhance your bodywork practice and support birth with confidence.
