Sylvia Muda – Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator
Movement has always been at the heart of what I do. My journey started with studying at CIOS and the Academy of Physical Education, followed by my degree in Physiotherapy. Before working as a physiotherapist, I spent many years coaching in the world of elite gymnastics, where guiding people to trust their bodies was already central to my work.
When I became pregnant myself and later the mother of four sons, my curiosity about the pregnant and birthing body grew immensely. That personal experience led me to specialize in pre- and postnatal care. Since then, my passion has been supporting women during pregnancy, helping them prepare for birth, and guiding them in the transition into motherhood.
In 2018, I attended my first Spinning Babies® workshop and immediately felt a deep connection with this approach. It beautifully combines body awareness, physiology, and practical tools that help create more balance in the pregnant body. In 2019, I completed the first European Spinning Babies® Parent Educator training in The Hague, together with my colleague Lauran van der Beek, a midwife. Teaching these classes together makes the experience even richer for the parents we work with.
In 2025, I completed my Master’s degree in Pelvic Physiotherapy, which further deepened my understanding of the body during pregnancy and birth.
My goal is to help you and your partner approach birth with confidence, trust, and practical tools. I love sharing knowledge that helps you understand what your body can do, so you can move toward birth feeling prepared and supported. A positive birth experience can be the beginning of a strong, healthy, and joyful start to motherhood.
