Tracey’s work within the birthing community began with her studies at the University of Northern Iowa, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Health Promotion and, two years later, her RN license. She has supported families as a labor/delivery nurse and birth educator in the Cedar Valley since 2006. Tracey also spent several years in public health nursing, providing education and support to those in the Title V Maternal Health program in Black Hawk County. In 2017, she also became a Certified Lactation Counselor, enhancing her skills while working with families in the postpartum period. Birth can be a powerful and transformative experience; parents should feel capable and confident in their abilities!
